Foundation For Natural Leadership
On 29 June 2006 Foundation for Natural Leadership officially incorporated as a non-profit organization. The purpose of the foundation, as expressed in the Founding Act, is to promote the development of a new paradigm in organization and leadership, focused on the environmental sustainability of our planet and the evolution of humanity.
It is about connectedness between people, between people and nature, connectedness with our deepest sources of creativity and connectedness with our awareness of and responsibility for the planet on which we live.
This makes the FNL one of the first organizations and forerunners in the field of natural leadership, with nature as an important portal for personal transformation and leadership development.
More than 1600 participants have been on one of our unique and highly valued Wilderness leadership Trails. After Africa, many destinations to beautiful nature reserves in Europe have been added. For many participants the trail is a unique and transformative experience and for some even lifechanging

Inner Development Goals
De Inner Development Goals (IDGs) www.innerdevelopmentgoals.org is a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting inner change as a catalyst for positive environmental impact. The organization was founded in Sweden in 2020 in response to a lack of progress on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs, released in 2015, gave the world a comprehensive plan for a more sustainable world by 2030. While the SDGs provide a vision and topics that societies can prioritize for a more sustainable world, progress is disappointing, according to many.

Change starts within
The IDGS represent an approach, aimed at promoting inner change as a catalyst for positive ecological and social impact. From inner growth to outer change!
In addition to traditional sustainability efforts, IDGS enable individuals and organizations to cultivate qualities such as empathy, resilience, collective awareness, and a deep sense of connection to nature.
The five dimensions of inner development are:

The IDGS have rapidly gained momentum worldwide, inspiring individuals and organizations to integrate inner development into their climate action strategies. They recognize that the climate crisis is not just about policy and technology; it's about our collective consciousness.
Impact
Prioritizing inner development helps organizations to:
- Promote problem solving: we become better equipped to tackle complex problems with creativity and clarity.
- Strengthening relationships: improved emotional intelligence leads to more authentic and effective connections.
- Improving resilience: an awareness-based mindset allows us to come back stronger than before from setbacks.
Nature as a source of inspiration
The connections with nature have the potential to bring about profound societal changes towards respect and care for our environment. It can help the practitioner see that we do not exist independently and that we are part of nature, promoting environmentally friendly behavior.
The effects of Wilderness Trails fit seamlessly with the IDGS.
